NRA - Home Firearm Safety
This four-hour course teaches students the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for the safe handling and storage of firearms and ammunition in the home. This is a non-shooting course, conducted in the classroom only.

NRA - Basics of Pistol Shooting
The NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting is a two-part course. The first part is completed online in your own time, and the practical portion is a shooting course conducted at the range with one of our NRA certified instructors. LVFAST teaches the second phase required to complete your certification.

NRA - Personal Protection in the Home
This course teaches the basic knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the safe and efficient use of a handgun for protection of self and family inside your home.

Choosing a handgun for self defense
Legal aspects of self-defense
Practical shooting drills for skill development

Pre-requisite - Prospective students must demonstrate mastery of basic handgun skills by having the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course Certificate, NRA First Step Pistol Certificate, Military DD214 with pistol qualification, or passing the LVFAST pre-course assessment

NRA - Personal Protection Outside the Home
This course teaches students the knowledge, skills and attitude essential for avoiding dangerous confrontations and for the safe, effective and responsible use of a concealed pistol for self-defense outside the home.

NRA - Basic Range Safety Officer (RSO)
Develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting, and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations.

Often, LVFAST will hold a discipline specific instructor course which doesn't include the BIT. If you do not have BIT and wish to attend such a course, we can arrange to conduct it privately to get you current prior to your desired instructor certification course.

Prepares NRA CRSOs for training and supervising NRA basic RSOs and developing range standard operating procedures. The course is conducted in 2 parts: NRA Basic Instructor Training (must be completed for any instructor rating), and the discipline specific training pertaining to CRSO course. Often, LVFAST will hold a discipline specific instructor course which doesn't include the BIT. If you do not have BIT and wish to attend such a course, we can arrange to conduct it privately to get you current prior to your desired instructor certification course.
