NV, UT, FL Concealed Weapons (CCW) Course

This one-day class exceeds the curriculum required by the Nevada Sheriffs' and Chiefs' Association to apply for your Nevada CCW permit. Our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and depth of curriculum that is hard to find anywhere else in the industry. Upon successfully completing this course, students will be eligible to apply for Nevada, Utah, and Florida CCW permits. THIS IS NOT A BASIC SHOOTING COURSE. If you do not pass the pistol qualification, you will only be allowed to remediate after further training with one of our instructors.

Enrollment - Open to law abiding adults, 21 years old and older. Must lawfully be allowed to possess a firearm. Must be lawfully in the United States.
Pre-requisite - Basic handgun safety and shooting proficiency. We are happy to schedule personal instruction if you need prior to this course.

Nevada Armed Guard License

This two-day class exceeds the curriculum required by the Nevada Private Investigators' Licensing Board (PILB). Our instructors bring a wealth of knowledge and depth of curriculum that is hard to find anywhere else in the industry. Our reputation and standard of excellence shows in graduates of our Armed Guard certification courses. Students must successfully pass a written examination and pistol qualification in order graduate this course.

Length - Two Days
Enrollment - Open to security guards in Nevada who possess a VEAS (Verification of armed employment) from their employer.
Pre-requisite - Must have current VEAS signed by your employer in order to be eligible for an armed guard license in Nevada. Basic handgun safety and shooting proficiency. We are happy to schedule personal instruction if you need basic education prior to this course.

Nevada Armed Guard Re-qualification Shooting Evaluation

Every 6 months, any security guard who wishes to maintain "Armed" status in Nevada must re-qualify with his or her pistol. LVFAST CFI's will arrange a time to meet with you or allow you to shoot the qualification during the range day of an already scheduled PILB course.

Length - 1 hour
Enrollment - Open to security guards in Nevada who possess a VEAS (Verification of armed employment) from their employer.
Pre-requisite - A VEAS from your employer, a valid and current "R" card with Armed status, Photo ID, and money order made out to PILB for 5 dollars.
Cost - $25

ASP Tactical Handcuffing Certification (ABC)

Modern handcuffing certifications afford security professionals quick, quiet, and effective methods of temporary restraint for suspects.

LVFAST offers a concise ASP basic certification in a 1 day program.

Length - 5 hours
Enrollment - Open to law enforcement and security professionals.
Pre-requisite - You must bring your current Nevada Driver’s License, identification card or other U.S. Government issued ID. Each student must bring appropriate clothing including athletic supporter, cup, supportive footwear and towel. This is physically active training. Persons unable to perform or complete the activities cannot be certified. Absolutely no firearms are permitted in the training area.

ASP Tactical Baton Certification (ABC)

Baton certification can afford officers force options for non-compliant suspects which can minimize liability and increase officer safety.

ASP Baton Certification teaches the basics of carrying, maintaining, and employing a defensive police impact weapon in use-of-force scenarios.

Length - 9 hours
Enrollment - Open to law enforcement and security professionals.
Pre-requisite - You must bring your current Nevada Driver’s License, identification card or other U.S. Government issued ID. Each student must bring appropriate clothing including athletic supporter, cup, supportive footwear and towel. This is physically active training.
